our precious residence, crash mansion, is dealing with electrical and flooding issues. we are being relocated to a new venue which we are very very excited about, tammany hall. 

so catch us on tuesday, the 24th, where there will be rad bands and bunny tails everywhere!

thank you to crash mansion and the event we had there last week for the nyc AIDS walk benefit show. one of the bunnies got sick so we had a pretty small crew, but it just goes to show how much bunny love we have to offer ;)

elements and animal bones

so my good friend jj japanime, who inspires me in the studio and who also loves to play my favorite game called "what if...", just had a fashion show at an event he hosts monthly at the grace hotel's pool called DRiP. he asked me to help conceptualizing and constructing some elements of his characters, which were modeled after a sort of king neptune and poseidon war-of-the-worlds. 


the piece i'm wearing in these pictures was also worn by the beautiful pop artist, natalia kills, for whom he styled her last photo shoot to promote her new single, mirrors.


it is fucking amazing.

the show last night was brilliant. 


there were golden idols. there was a studio 54 coke whore. a straightjacketed psycho ex. a leopard vixen. a blond bond girl. shimmering go-go dancers. 


if you were there, you will be carrying our glitter-bomb calling card for weeks. 


if you weren't, well... what a shame. you missed so, so much.

i don't know who the hell david brinkley is or what he did in his lifetime, but i came across this quote a little while ago and realized the power which lay within the words.

i'm vena von cava, and my partner's name is airin de skies. we are dancers and aerial artists living in brooklyn, ny. we met a year ago and realized we had similar backgrounds in dance and burlesque, and similar visions of what entertainment should be.

and so, dead bunny was birthed. ironic, simply, i know. it's just that the heavy bricks have started to feel a lot more... well, fuzzy bunny-fied; and thus begins our journey with other beauties who feel the same way. 

follow us. fall in love over and over.  our next show is wednesday, march 23rd, crash mansion on bowery in manhattan. free vodka bar from 7-8 pm, show kicks off with us and continues into the night.
